Full-Time Part-Time

As Construction Planner, you will work closely with Site and Project Managers. You will be expected to deliver project progress updates and reports, develop time plans and schedules that ensure projects are completed safely, timeously and within budget.

Lusaka, Zambia

Key Responsibilities

Progress Updates
Progress Reports
Analysis of delays
Mitigating proposals
Establish construction methods and programme requirements
Study contract drawings and documents to get familiar with all contractual requirements
Assist Site Manager with method statements
Prepare Programmes with packages such as CCS and Microsoft Projects
Present Programmes with Directors for approval
Prepare a contractual programme for submission to the Consulting Engineers / Client
Modify the programme to incorporate any changes or extra work
Assist the Site Manager with programmes as required
Monitor site progress against the programme and amend the programme accordingly
Attend site progress meetings as required
Prepares cost estimates and plans, audit projects, manage construction revenue and costs and administer construction contracts

Skills, Experience & Education

At least 5 yearsâ€™ experience in the construction industry
CCS, MS Project, MS Excel, Resource / Allowable / Planning courses
Knowledge of production / construction ratios, bar-charts and flow diagrams
