On March 27th, 2019, Liege Africa was awarded the project to build the new Zambia Italian Cultural Center (ZICC) near the Italian School of Lusaka. During a ground breaking ceremony the first piece of ground was lifted by the Ambassador of Italy, Filippo Scammacca del Murgo, and Cav. Gaudenzio Rossi, President of the institution. The Center will host a multi-purpose hall for theatrical, musical (with a piano and audiovisual systems) or cinematographic performances, with a capacity for 300 people, as well as a space for exhibitions of paintings and other visual arts. The project is part of the actions to promote Italian culture and language in Zambia.
